The festival is typically kicked off with a performance of Smetana’s “Má vlast (My Country)”, his representative work which is a collection of symphonic poems. This year’s festival is being held until June 3  throughout the Prague region, with prominent figures including the Czech President Petr Pavel and many distinguished guests from the government and business circles coming to attend.
