슬롯 Heavy Industries & Construction and its subsidiary 슬롯 GridTech announced on January 26 that they participated in DistribuTECH 2018 held in San Antonio, Texas from January 24 to 26 (local time). DistribuTECH is North America’s largest electric power transmission & distribution and energy storage system (ESS) exhibition. More than 540 companies participated in this year’s event. At this year’s exhibition, which marked the company’s second consecutive year to participate, 슬롯 and 슬롯 GridTech set up the company’s own booth and introduced 슬롯 GridTech's ESS software and platform to North American power companies. “We intend to show 슬롯’s ESS technology and business execution capability at the exhibition attended by more than 15,000 buyers and potential customers worldwide to help our future business,” 슬롯 GridTech CEO Daejin Choi said 슬롯 Heavy Industries & Construction acquired 1Energy Systems, which is an ESS solution provider, in 2016 and created 슬롯 GridTech. The company is carrying out ESS projects mostly in Korea and North America. Its latest project involves supplying a 10 MWh ESS to the Beacon Solar Power Plant near the Mojave Desert operated by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
